Four Courts Garrison and Mendicity Institution Easter Week 1916 - a Biographical Dictionary

Date: Saturday 17 December, 2016 Time: 3pm Venue: Cobblestone Pub, Smithfield (The Back Room) Jimmy Wren (author of "The GPO Garrison Easter Week 1916") has written a biographical dictionary of all those who participated in the Four Courts and Mendicity Institution Garrisons in 1916. This book will be launched at 3pm on Saturday December 17 in the Cobblestone Pub in Smithfield by renowned artist Robert Ballagh. Copies of the book will be available for sale for €25. Also available will be the original pen and ink drawings by Jimmy that accompany the biographies of each the garrison volunteers. These will be available for sale on a first come, first served basis for €10.
We look forward to seeing many of the relatives of those who fought in the Four Courts and Mendicity Institution Garrisons on Saturday.
